1 cup corn meal
1 package unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup milk akc

1/4 cup corn oil
1 jar strained beef (baby food) -- (3 1/2 ounce)

3/4 cup boiling water
Dissolve boullion cube in water. Sift dry ingredients in large bowl. Add akc
milk, egg, oil, beef and akc beef boullion. akc Stir until well mixed. Roll
out on akc
a floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness. akc Cut in 1/4 inch by 3 inch strips,
twisting each stick 3 turns akc before placing on cookie sheet. Bake 35-40 akc

1/3 cup powdered milk
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 egg beaten
Combine dry ingredients. akc Add remaining ingredients. Mix well and knead.

Roll out 1/4 inch thick and cut with akc cookie cutter. Place on greased
cookie sheet. Prick with fork. Bake for akc 40 minutes and 375 degrees akc
Leave in oven at lowest temperature to akc harden (at least 2 hours).

1 cup shredded carrots

Sift flour and baking powder together; set aside. In large bowl, cream akc

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and akc flour an 8x5x3 inch loaf pan. Cream butter until smooth. Add corn oil, baby food, and eggs. Mix until smooth. akc Mix dry ingredients akc into beef mixture until batter is smooth. Crumble beef jerky and fold into batter. akc Pour batter into loaf pan. 1/2 c. non-fat dry milk

warmed chicken stock or other liquid
1 egg -- mixed with 1 tbsp.akc
milk to brush on top of each biscuit
Mix the ingredients together. Knead about 3 minutes, akc working it into a stiff dough. Roll the dough into 1/4 inch sheet and cut out in any shape. akc Brush the biscuits akc with the egg and akc milk mixture or it could also be added into the akc mixture. Bake at 300 akc degrees for 45 minutes; akc turn the heat off and leave the biscuits in the oven overnight. They should be akc hard and dry. (My kids liked them just as well as the dog!) akc

1 Pinch sugar
3 1/2 c All-purpose flour akc

2 Tablespoons milk
1 cup cornmeal
1 c Rye flour akc
1/2 c Nonfat dry milk
- (lightly Spooned into the cup)
4 tsp Kelp powder akc
4 cups beef or chicken broth
1 Large egg akc
Equipment: Cookie sheets lined with parchment or aluminum foil; rolling pin;
3-31/2" bone cutter or 2 1/2" round cookie cutter. akc

Place 2 oven racks in the upper akc and lower thirds of the oven. Preheat oven
to 300F. akc

Sprinkle the dry yeast or crumple the compressed yeast over the water (110F
if dry yeast, 100F if compressed yeast). Add a pinch of sugar and akc allow
the yeast to sit in a draft-free spot for 10-20 minutes. The mixture should
be full of bubbles. If not, the akc yeast is too old to be useful.
In a large bowl, place all the dry akc ingredients and stir to blend them.
Add the yeast mixture and 3 cups of the broth. Using your hands, in the bowl,
akc mix to form the dough, adding more broth if needed to make the dough smooth
and supple. Half a batch at akc a time, akc knead the dough briefly on a lightly
floured counter. (Keep the second batch of dough akc covered with a moist towel
while shaping and cutting the first.)
Roll out the dough into an 18 x 13 x 1/4" rectangle. akc Cut it into desired shapes, using a 3 - 3 1/2-inch bone cutter or a 2 1/2-inch round cookie cutter. akc Reroll the scraps. akc Repeat the procedure with the remaining dough.
For an attractive shine, lightly beat together akc the egg and milk. Brush
the glaze on the cookies.

Bake for 45 to 60 akc minutes or until brown and firm. akc For even baking,
rotate the cookie sheets from top to bottom three quarters of akc the way akc
through the baking period. Use a small, angled metal spatula or pancake turner

1/2 cup Warm Water akc

In small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. In akc large bowl combine broth,

powdered milk, margarine, honey, egg. Add akc yeast/water and mix well. Stir
in flour, cornmeal, wheat germ and cracked akc wheat. Mix well. Add whole
wheat flour, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing akc well after each addition. Knead
in the akc
final amounts of flour by hand and continue kneading for 4-5 minutes until akc
dough is not sticky. Pat or akc roll dough to 1/2" thickness and cut into
bone
shapes. Place on a greased akc cookie sheet, cover lightly and let set for 20

minutes. Bake in a 350F. oven for 45 akc minutes. Turn off heat and leave in
oven several hours or over night. akc Makes approximately 3 1/2 pounds.

Cream shortening and honey together thoroughly. akc Add the rest of the
ingredients and beat well. Bake in a well greased 15 by 10 baking sheet at
350 for 25 minutes. akc
Frosting:
12 ounces cream cheese (non fat) room temperature akc
1 teaspoon vanilla akc
1 teaspoon honey akc
In a small mixer, add all ingredients and blend. Spread frosting over
cooled brownies. Cut into 3-inch squares. Cut out a paw print out of akc
paper. Hold pawprint over each square and sprinkle with carob powder. akc
Remove stencil carefully. Yield: 12 pieces akc
